Since the beginning, we have always thought that the only way to run a company is to include goals in the business plan that create concrete value for people and the land.
This value cannot be separate from reducing our environmental impact through a unified and continuous approach.
Through the people, processes of production, raw materials, and reuse and recycling programs, we have translated our commitment into a concrete plan of action.
Sustainability has become part of our daily decision-making processes, guiding our whole chain of values.
Our goal is to contribute to a concrete and relevant change of course throughout the fashion industry. It is a challenge of which we are at the forefront, but one that we cannot tackle alone.
Therefore, with a coordinated approach in our three certified offices in Italy, China, and Turkey, and in collaboration with companies and suppliers, we are pursuing concrete and measurable actions: such as reducing and offsetting emissions, choosing sustainable or recycled raw materials, reusing, and phasing out waste.

In a world where sustainability has become a buzzword, we at Ricciarini have chosen to turn it into tangible actions. Every day, our commitment is focused on creating fabrics that not only express aesthetics and innovation but also respect the environment and people.
The certifications we have obtained are concrete proof of our dedication to a more ethical, responsible, and transparent future. By adhering to the strictest international standards, we promote resource recycling, the use of organic materials, and a fully traceable and sustainable textile supply chain.

For Ricciarini, sustainability is a collective and global approach—it’s a style, a way of thinking, a mindset through which we interpret the spirit of the times.
Our commitment to sustainability is tangible and concrete, embracing every phase of our work.
For this reason, we take into consideration the energy required to produce our materials, the related water consumption, and the waste generated throughout the entire life cycle.
We prioritize the selection of regenerated raw materials, following criteria that protect the environment, preserve biodiversity, and ensure respect for animals.
Ricciarini is committed to spreading and promoting sustainable values and standards throughout its entire supply chain. To this end, we have issued and shared our Green Act with all our suppliers and collaborators, requesting full adherence to the outlined principles and requirements.
We are aware that the use of chemical products is one of the most significant impacts tied to our production activities. For this reason, we are committed to evaluating and reducing the release of chemical substances in the environment to minimum levels, while keeping a close eye on the risks connected with their use, and with the goal of progressively eliminating them.
We have a Chemical Manager within the company for the correct management of chemical substances and enable us to implement controls at all stages of production to gradually eliminate from production processes any substances that are toxic and harmful to human health and the environment.
Our human factor is what makes us excellent, and building a fashion industry that is really sustainable must start with a process of education and growth that puts the wellness of our internal and external collaborators at the center; and that is made up of formative training aimed to open our horizons towards technology, innovation, and production processes that are ever more sustainable.
For a unique sensory experience
Fabric is the cornerstone for creating real change in the fashion industry.
Ricciarini chooses responsible and sustainable production methods, preferably based on regenerated yarns.
We bring to life fabrics made from single, natural fibers or select recyclable and regenerated blends, promoting a circular economy.
We prioritize finishes, dyeing techniques, and mechanical processes inspired by nature and driven by the most innovative technologies.
With a focus on the increasingly efficient use of water and electricity, we reduce the use of chemicals and continuously pursue the introduction of more sustainable technologies and innovations.
Ricciarini aims to build greater traceability for its fabrics, enforcing strict quality controls at every stage of production to ensure the longevity of the fabrics we offer.
In fabric, Ricciarini sees the key element that transforms a finished garment into a product with a strong, distinctive, and captivating design—precisely because it is conceived and produced with fully eco-sustainable principles.
Our journey towards ever-greater sustainability is, for us, an inexhaustible source of inspiration and research, as well as a style choice capable of decoding and anticipating trends.
In 2010, Ricciarini Corporate acquired the historic wool mills of Casentino, a traditional and outstanding production chain.
Ricciarini chose to learn from and preserve an heritage that dates back to 1848, rediscovering manufacturing methods inspired by nature and capable of creating fabrics with a unique charm.
A new production chain was born—an industrial reality that treasures the acquired heritage, drawing inspiration from the past to develop innovative production processes.
Ricciarini embarked on creating high-end wool fabrics that defy market conventions.
The wool is sourced through a meticulous and expert selection of raw materials from around the world. Mulesing-Freeyarns are chosen based on their micron count, crimp, and length.
The fibers undergo carding, spinning, and warping before entering the loom for weaving and final finishing processes.
